Nike Basketball has released the official images of the upcoming “Elite Series 2.0”. They decided to go with a superhero theme for this year and built the sneakers according to each superhero’s [player’s] power [talent]. Unlike last years Elite Series, this one will feature Kevin Durant. The Lebron X Elite is based on his “unstoppable power”, the Kobe 8 Elite focuses on his “deceptive speed” & the KD V Elite is built for “ultimate control”. Originally released in 1997, and became famous in 1998 with the Spike Lee classic “He Got Game”, the White/ Black/ Red Air Jordan Retro 13 are family favorites around the globe. They were retroed for the first time in 2008, in the CountDown Pack with the “Shadow” retro 10s [Another Classic], and were still difficult to get. So its long awaited individual release is set to hit stores March 16 2013 with a retail price of $175.
